ForkHub is a open source GitHub client that started off as a fork of the official Android app from GitHub after they abandoned it, and has since seen lots of improvements. Very useful in keeping you informed about your repos. Its not a replacement for the github website of course. I use it for many years to keep track of commits my teammates push, comment on issues etc. Simpel and stable app with no ads or excessive permissions.
